I have aquired a couple of Sun Ultra 1 Creator 3D machines, with keyboard and mouse. I will try to make at least one of them work, and install FreeBSD/sparc64 on it. Things i need:
a monitor adapter, from the Sun-monitor-type plug to "normal type" VGA (15 pin) connector
13W3 to VGA adapter aquired; bought from a net shop.
disks with SCA 80-pins connector. Luckily, I already have a spud bracket.
Drive aquired. I found a 36GB SCA drive fairly cheap.

NetBSD 1.6.2 installed without problem on the Ultra 1, once I had replaced a defective CD-ROM drive and a bad hard drive. I haven't tried the network yet.

FreeBSD 5.3-BETA7 installed and working. Note. this (and the other installs before this) was performed with a serial console. At this point, i can tell that disk and network works. Much of the rest haven't been tested (by me) yet.

I have just tested the Creator 3D framebuffer in text mode (console) so far. With my cheapass Orion monitor it does NOT work, but with a real monitor, it works. Testing with X (XFree86 or X.org) remains.
