Description:	Tomorrow, October 16th, is World Food Day. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) founded World Food Day in 1979 as a way to bring attention to and encourage action in the fight against hunger, an epidemic that now affects an estimated one billion people worldwide. This year, FAO is calling on us to make an International Alliance Against Hunger. This alliance encourages everyone from government to businesses, including individual citizens, to create or renew initiatives to fight hunger. Cooperation on local and international levels will strengthen our efforts, giving us greater power to reach our common goal.
